Welcome to our Piano For All review.  We hope you find it useful in getting a line on how the course stacks up.  We do independent reviews of online piano courses and feel they are beneficial to those looking to evaluate the courses out there.  Our review criteria is based on multiple factors and we look for the intangibles that players need to go from good to great.

Piano For AllThe folks at PIANOFORALL say that if you’re looking for a fast way to learn piano and would like an easy method to follow while you do then you’ll want to take a look at their course.  We decided to test that and our review focused on that plus our normal criteria described below.

Holding a degree in music education and having played professionally and taught many people to make music gives unique insight into separating the ‘wheat from the chaff’ when it comes to music programs.

This PIANOFORALL review is intended to point out the high points that meet the criteria we’ve established to best facilitate learning.  The first and foremost criteria needed to success is that the course is grounded in activity based lessons.  People learn best by doing and PIANOFORALL meets that initial criteria.

A second criteria that we look for is that the system be FUN.   People have lots of things today to keep their attention and something like a piano course has to compete with the other distractions.  You want a course that has you WANTING to get back into it over and over again.  With its long list of multi-media presentation modes our PIANOFORALL review found the course keeps you engaged and entertained as you learn.  You get a three-fold approach in that you READ HOW, HEAR HOW, then WATCH HOW.  That is a powerful combination because it is a well known axiom of learning that people only retain MAYBE 10% of what they read after a couple of days.  But if they reinforce the message received in multiple ways that number leaps to above 70%!

You start with a popular chord based Rhythm Style Piano (think of artists like Elton John, Billy Joel, Lennon & McCartney, Barry Mannilow, Lionel Ritchie, Coldplay, Norah Jones and so on) which is EASY but sounds amazingly like the ‘real thing’. This enables you to achieve a professional sound almost immediately.

If started into the PIANOFORALL review by following our criteria  you know we just checked off another requirement met.

Once you are sounding great and having a whole lot of fun (which motivates you to learn more) you then expand step-by-step on your chord and rhythm knowledge into Blues, Ballad style, Jazz, Ragtime, Improvisation and yes.. even to sight reading (another of our criteria) classical music.

No matter if you’re a complete beginner or have been playing for a while because our PIANOFORALL review found that it is just THAT…piano for all!  If you’re just beginning then you start with book # 1 (Party Time) where you’ll learn; GETTING TO KNOW THE KEYBOARD.  “Understanding the keyboard is a lot easier than you might imagine. A complete, clear, concise overview of learning piano and chords from scratch. No frills, no fuss – only what you NEED to know to learn FAST. Memory tricks, BLUFFS, formulas, lots of innovative ways to get you playing NOW.”

Moving along in our PIANOFORALL review we wanted to check our the applicability for the more advanced.  And we jumped right to Book 7 – Advanced Blues Piano & Fake Stride…” where the focus is to learn lots of ways to spice up your playing and how to improvise blues piano.”  To top it off they get into “fake stride” and the student ends up playing a terrific version of ‘The Entertainer!’  All of this is supported by 26 VIDEOS /89 AUDIOS and that’s just to demonstrate what you’re learning with this ONE book!

The possibilities and styles go on and on as you learn to play all different styles all at your picking and choosing.  If you don’t care for one style…just move on to another and tailor your style  to your likes and personality.   Our PIANOFORALL review sums it up with a 4.5 star rating.  You’ll enjoy this course; we DID.
